about

This project came about due to me working in a lot of schools, colleges and universities.I found that a lot of the black students were getting racially abused and some were even called names like monkeys, niggers and slaves. I looked in to what type of topics the students were being taught during their history lessons and in most cases if not all they were being taught about slavery, this highlighted why a lot of the students were getting racial abuse, as amongst many things this is causing segregation.I have also learnt that schools are removing positive black key influences out of the curriculum. Myself and the people that feature on this project are not complaining about this issue we are bringing awareness and we are part of the solution as active educators changing the negative narrative and empowering those who are being oppressed globally.
